The candidates who registered for round 1 or round 2 and did not receive any seat allotment are not required to register again. New registration for round 3 is open for candidates who have not registered in either round 1 or round 2, provided they complete the full payment of fees, including registration and security charges.
The registration window for the same will remain open till 8 October 2024. This counseling is conducted for the candidates who wish to take admission into All India Quota (15%), deemed universities, central universities, all All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) institutes, and the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) in Puducherry and Karaikal.
The candidates may note that they will have to pay registration fees according to the category i.e. candidates from unreserved (UR) and economically weaker sections (EWS) candidates will have to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 1,000 to register for the NEET UG counseling 2024.
However, the candidates from scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), other backward classes (OBC), and persons with disabilities (PwD) categories are required to pay Rs 500. The committee will commence the choice-filling process from 5 to 8 October 2024.
The locking period for the choices will be commenced from 4 pm on 8 October 2024, until 11:55 pm on the same day. The NEET UG 2024 seat allotment process will be conducted on 9 and 10 October 2024 and the results of the seat allotment will be announced on 11 October 2024.
The seat allotment result will be announced based on the NEET UG rank, seat availability, and the candidates’ course and college preferences. Candidates will then have to report to the allotted institute from 12 to 18 October 2024. The verification of joined candidates’ data by the institutes will be conducted on 19 and 20 October 2024.
