Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024: The Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Chennai has revised the counselling schedule for the second round of Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 counselling. According to the revised schedule, the Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 round 2 counselling registration will end tomorrow i.e. 17 December 2024. 

According to the released notice, “If the candidate does not lock his/her choices till the last date (18-12-2024 10.00 AM) their choices will be automatically locked.” Earlier, the registration window was going to be closed today i.e. on 16 December 2024. Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 and opting for re-allotment in Round 2 will have their round 1 seat shown as a virtual vacancy in Round 2. 

While other candidates can lock choices for this virtual seat during round 2. The seat will only be allotted if the round 1 candidate vacates it, making the virtual vacancy a real vacancy open to all based on merit.  The last date to exercise TN NEET PG 2024 choice filling and locking is 18 December 2024. 

The dates for Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 round 2 seat allotment and reporting will remain the same. The Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 Round 2 seat allotment result will be released on 19 December 2024. Candidates will be able to download the seat allotment letter till 28 December 2024, and the reporting deadline for shortlisted candidates is 28 December 2024.

Tamil Nadu NEET PG Counselling 2024: Registration fee 

The candidates who participate in the online choice-filling process for Diplomate of National Board (DNB) courses under the government quota will be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 1,000. During the registration process, candidates will be required to pay a refundable security deposit for the government quota, unless it has already been paid earlier. For Government Medical Colleges and Institutions, the amount is Rs 30,000.
