NMMS Gujarat 2025: The State Examination Board Gujarat has opened the application window for Gujarat National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) exam. The candidates who wish to apply for the NMMS scholarship can visit the official website i.e. sebexam.org.
The candidates may note that the application window for the same will remain open till 11 January 2025. However, the candidates will be able the application fees till 13 January 2025. The NMMS Gujarat exam will be conducted on 16 February 2025.
The qualified candidates will get the scholarship award of Rs 1,000 per month i.e. Rs 12,000 every year. The scholarship amount will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of the eligible candidates by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
The NMMS merit list will be released after the exam, and candidates will be able to check their results. It will be released in the form of a PDF. The candidates will have to look for their names in the PDF of the result.
NMMS Gujarat 2025: Eligibility
Candidates in Class 7 from the general and OBC categories must secure at least 55% marks, and SC/ST candidates must secure 50% marks to be eligible.
Candidates studying in Class 8 as regular students in government, government-aided, and local body schools can apply.
Candidates whose annual family income is not more than Rs 3,50,000 per year are eligible.
Candidates studying in NVS, KVS, Sainik School, or private schools are not eligible for the NMMS scholarship.
Candidates in residential schools or other adopted schools under the state government are not eligible for application.
