The AFCAT 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on 22 and 23 February 2024 at various exam centers across the country. The IAF conducts AFCAT twice a year in February and September to recruit eligible candidates as commissioned, Class 1 gazetted officers in flying, ground duty (technical and non-technical branches), and meteorology entry for grant of permanent, short service commission in the Indian Air Force.
The candidates may note that the application window for the same will remain open till 31 December 2024 up to 11.30 pm. The AFCAT 2025 exam aims to fill a total of 336 vacancies in the department.
The selection for AFCAT 01/2025 involves multiple stages-
Written Examination: To assess the candidate’s knowledge and aptitude.
Air Force Selection Board (AFSB): The shortlisted candidates will undergo further testing at one of the AFSB centers.
Document Verification: All candidates will have to provide the necessary documents for verification.
Medical Examination: Candidates who pass all previous stages will undergo a medical check-up as per IAF standards.

- Firstly, candidates need to visit the official website i.e. afcat.cdac.in.
- Then click on the application link available on the home page.
- Register yourself and fill out the application form.
- Upload the required documents and pay the required fees.
- At last click on submit and save the confirmation page.
- The candidates can take a printout for future reference.
