Bihar CHO Exam Paper Leak Update: As many as 37 people have been detained by the Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) team for their involvement in leaking question papers for the examination of community health officers (CHO) conducted by the state health committee, according to media reports.
It is learnt that a computer based test was conducted by the State Health Committee at 12 online centers in Patna on December 1, 2024 for the selection to the posts of ‘Community Health Officer’.
37 people detained
According to media reports, the EOU has detained 37 people, including people of Shine Tech Private Limited, heads of online examination centers, IT managers of online examination centers, exam coordinators and IT support staff, for rigging.
During the raid at three online examination centers, EOU official found proxy servers, remote viewing applications and software.
The examination held on December 1 has been cancelled. The examination scheduled to be held on December 2 has been also cancelled.
Raids were conducted at three venues on December 1 during examination and it was found that the solver gang had illegally accessed the computer system through proxy servers, remote wing applications and software, according to Manavjit Singh Dhillon, DIG of EOU.
