CAT Result 2024 Out Soon: Confusion prevails over the CAT Result 2024 release date. The Indian Institutes of Management is exepcetd to release the results of the Common Admission Test (CAT) anytime soon, according to media reports.  However, the official confirmation in connection with the CAT Result 2024 release date is still awaited. Once released, the candidates who took the exam will be able to check their scores by visiting the official website i.e. iimcat.ac.in.

CAT Result 2024: How to check the result, once released? 

Firstly, candidates need to visit the official website i.e. iimcat.ac.in. 

Then click on the scorecard link available on the homepage. 

Enter your login credentials and click on submit. 

The result will be displayed on the screen of the candidate. 

After viewing, download the same. 

The candidates can take a printout for future reference. 

It is learnt that a total of 2.93 lakh students appeared in the exam. While the scorecard will contain each candidate’s name, CAT registration number, photo, category, sectional and overall percentile, the CAT 2024 was a computer-based test designed to evaluate the aptitude of candidates in areas such as quantitative ability, verbal ability, data interpretation, and logical reasoning. Questions were available in English with a total duration of 120 minutes, divided into three sections of 40 minutes each.

Each question carried three marks, and there was a negative marking of one mark for each incorrect answer. It was conducted in three shifts: Morning (8:30 AM – 10:30 AM), Afternoon (12:30 PM – 2:30 PM), and Evening (4:30 PM – 6:30 PM).
