The computer-based test will be conducted from February 16 to 28, 2025. The duration of the exam will be 180 minutes. The paper will be bilingual i.e., Hindi and English. This exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship (LS) /Assistant Professor in Indian Universities and Colleges.
The candidates will have to pay application fees according to the category they belong to i.e.
- General: Rs 1150
- General-EWS/OBC(NCL): Rs 600
- SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender: RS 325
The candidates may note that after closing the application window, the corrections window will be opened and the applicants will be allowed to make changes to their application form through this window if required.

- Firstly, candidates need to visit the official website i.e. nta.ac.in.
- Then click on the application link available on the home page.
- Register yourself and fill out the application form.
- Upload the required documents and pay the application fees.
- At last click on submit and save the confirmation page.
- Candidates can take a printout for future reference.
