The candidates may note that they will require their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to log in and make changes in their GATE application form 2025. The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on 1, 2, 15, and 16 February 2024 in two shifts i.e. 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, followed by the afternoon shift from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
The exam will be held in computer-based test (CBT) mode, covering 30 test papers. Candidates are allowed to appear for a maximum of two test papers from the available two-paper combinations. The admit card for the same is expected to be released on 2 January 2024. The GATE 2025 results are scheduled to be released on 19 March 2025.
The candidates will have to fees to make corrections according to the field they wish to change or edit. The fees required for each modification are as follows-
Change in name- Rs 500
Change in date of birth- Rs 500
Change in choice of exam cities- Rs 500
Change of existing paper- Rs 500
Add a second paper- Rs 500
Change of gender to female- Rs 500
Change of gender from female to any other gender- Rs 500 + Rs 900 = Rs 1,400
Change of category to SC/ST- Rs 500
Change of category from SC/ST to any other- Rs 500 (for female candidates or PwD candidates)- Rs 1,400 for all other candidates
Change from Non-PwD/Dyslexic to PwD/Dyslexic- Rs 500
Change from PwD/Dyslexic to Non-PwD/Dyslexic- Rs 500 (for female candidates or PwD candidates)- Rs 1,400 for all other candidates
Any other change in category- Rs 500
GATE 2025: How to make corrections?
- Firstly, candidates need to visit the official website i.e. gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
- Then click on the application correction link available on the home page.
- Enter your login credentials and click on submit.
- Make the required changes and review the same.
- At last, click on submit and save the confirmation page.
- Candidates can take a printout for future reference.
