However, the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR) has extended the application correction window for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 for PwD candidates till 22 November 2024. Applicants can make changes to their names, date of birth, choice of examination cities, College Name and Location, Roll No., and Registration No. and others by paying the applicable fee.
GATE 2025 will be conducted on February 1, 2, 15 and 16, 2025. The result will be announced on March 19, 2025. The exam will be conducted by IISc Bengaluru and seven IITs comprising IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee, on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB), Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.
This is conducted for candidates who wish to take admission into master’s programs offered by IITs and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore. The exam will be held in computer-based test (CBT) mode, covering 30 test papers.
Candidates are allowed to appear for a maximum of two test papers from the available two-paper combinations. The admit card for the same is expected to be released on 2 January 2024. The GATE 2025 results are scheduled to be released on 19 March 2025.
