Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IPU) has withdrawn the notice issued for admission in MTech programme, citing administrative reasons.

While the students had applied till January 20, the entrance examination for six programmes was to be held on January 25.  The varsity started the application process from January 6 for admission in MTech programmes (MTech CSE and MTech IT), MTech (ECE), MTech (Robotics and Automation), MTech (Biotechnology), MTech (Food Processing Technology), MTech (Chemical Engineering).

The last date to apply was January 20. For admission in this, CET (Common Entrance Test) was scheduled to be held on January 25. The result was scheduled to be declared on January 27. Many students  reached the centers to take the entrance exam and then they came to know about the admission withdrawal notice.  

According to the unversity, the students who have applied need not worry. The application fee received in the form of demand draft will be returned to the applicants.
