IGCAR Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Registration Update: Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) is all set to close the online application window for the engagement of Trade Apprentices Under Apprentices Act, 1961 today, October 13, 2024. Eligible candidates can apply for the posts on the official website (igcar.gov.in). 

While the recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 198 vacancies, the applicants will go through training for a duration of one years at Indira Gandhi Research Centre for Atomic Research, Kalpakkam — 603102, Chengalpattu District, Tamil Nadu.

It should be mentioned that applicants should must have attained the age of 18 years and should not be more than the age of 24 years as on October 13, 2024. Candidates are advised to check the vacancy details, educational qualification, pay scale, and other details before making online applications.

Step 1: Visit the official website (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in).

Step 2: Go to the “Latest Notification” section. 

Step 3: Click on the IGCAR Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2024 link.

Step 4: Fill up the application form and upload the required information.

Step 5: Pay the application fee (if asked).

Step 6: Download the form and take a printout for future reference.

IGCAR Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2024: Selection Procedure

The applications will be shortlisted on the following basis:

Candidate should possess ITI certificate in respective trade as mentioned in the official notification

The candidates will be shortlisted for training on the basis of marks obtained in their ITI course.

In case of tie in the percentage of ITI marks, candidates with higher percentage obtained in 10th / 8th standard will be placed higher on the merit list (8th class only in case of Welder, Carpenter, Mason / Civil Mistry, Plumber).

In case of tie in the marks obtained in 10th/8th, the candidate born earlier shall be considered.

Selected list for each trade will be published on IGCAR website. Candidates are advised to periodically visit IGCAR website i.e. www.igcar.gov.in under the Opportunities Recruitment tab for future correspondence and latest information.

All the candidates shortlisted are required to appear for Document Verification, failing which their candidature shall be deemed to be cancelled.

All correspondence pertaining to recruitment process will only be published in IGCAR website (www.igcar.gov.in) from time to time.
