The candidates may note that they will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 1,000 to submit their application form. According to the official notification, candidates having a valid UGC NET with JRF or a valid UGC NET score 2024 are eligible to apply for IGNOU PhD admissions fulfilling the eligibility criteria as prescribed in the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Recently, IGNOU was ranked number 1 under the new open university category in the Ministry of Education’s National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking.
- Scanned passport-size photograph (less than 100 KB)
- Scanned Signature (less than 100 KB)
- All the supporting documents (Date of Birth, relevant mark sheets, degree certificates, caste certificate, income certificate, disability certificate, UGC NET-JRF certificate, UGC-NET Scorecard, etc) (less than 500KB)

- Firstly, candidates need to visit the official website i.e. ignouadm.samarth.edu.in.
- Then click on the new registration link.
- Register yourself and fill in the details.
- Upload the required documents and pay the fees.
- At last click on submit and save the confirmation page.
- Candidates can take a printout for future reference.
