The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has announced the examination date for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2025. According to the official website, the JEE Advanced 2025 will take place on May 18, 2025. The exam will consist of two three-hour papers: Paper 1 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and Paper 2 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The official website states, “The JEE (Advanced) 2025 will be conducted on Sunday, May 18, 2025. The examination will consist of two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) of three hours each.”

IIT Kanpur has already shared details about the JEE Advanced 2025 eligibility criteria and syllabus. The official information brochure, which will include details about the application process, application fee, marking scheme, and other specifics, will soon be available on the website.
As per the eligibility criteria, the Joint Admission Board (JAB) has reinstated the earlier rule, limiting the number of attempts to two. Candidates who qualify for the JEE Main 2025 will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced 2025, which serves as the gateway for admission to the IITs.
