JKSSB Sub Inspector Application Date: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has started receiving applications for the posts of the Sub-Inspector in J&K Police, Home Department from today, December 3, 2024. While eligible candidates can fill out the application form through the official (website jkssb.nic.in) from December 3, 2024 to January 2, 2025, the recruitment drive aims to hire 669 posts of Sub-Inspector.

Step 3: Fill the application form.
Step 4: Submit the application form.
Step 5: Take a print out for future reference.

JKSSB Sub Inspector Application: Here is what official notification says

“The J&K Services Selection Board, vide Advertisement Notification No. 02 of 2024 dated 22.11.2024, has advertised 669 posts of Sub-Inspector in J&K Police, Home Department for inviting application from eligible candidates, who are in possession of a valid Domicile Certificate,” read the official notification.

It further pointed out that the aspirants can submit the application forms through the online portal of JKSSB. The following detail are given as under:

Submission of Application Forms:  03.12.2024 (12:00 AM) to 02.01.2025 (11:59 PM)

Last Date for receiving Fee Online: 03.12.2024 (12:00 AM) to 02.01.2025 (11:59 PM)

 

The necessary instructions for filling up of online applications in this regard are as under:

Candidates are required to apply through online mode only, by accessing the website of JKSSB www.jkssb.nic.in. No other means/mode of application will be accepted.

All the candidates shall be required to register on the Portal by clicking on ‘Log-in (Apply on Various Posts)’tab available on the Board website.

Candidates are required to have a valid e-mail ID and Mobile Number for registering by clicking on “New User / Sign Up” and creating login credentials.

JK Police SI Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

It should be mentioned that selection for these posts will be done on the basis of performance of candidates in written exam/ PET/PST, Document verification and Medical test. While the written exam will be based on Objective type multiple choice questions, the questions will be set only in the English language.

Candidates should note that there will be negative marking for each wrong answer to the extent of one-fourth of marks assigned to the questions.

Written Examination: Objective type multiple choice questions

Physical Standard Test (PST):  Candidates will have to qualify the physical standard test

Physical Endurance Test (PET):  Will have to appear for different activities like long race and pushups for males and long race and shot put for females.

Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must present their original documents.

Medical Test: Finally candidates will have to appear for medical test.
