Karnataka Common Entrance Exam 2025

KCET 2025 Registration: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is all set to begin the registration process for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025 from today, January 23. Interested candidates who wish to apply for the KCET 2025 can visit the official website i.e. cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
According to the released schedule, the KCET 2025 registration window will be active till 21 February 2025. KEA will also release the complete list of KCET 2025 exam centres on its official website. Candidates can select their KCET 2025 exam centre while filling out the KCET 2025 application form.
The exam for the same will be conducted on April 16 and 17 at various exam centres across the state. The exam will be conducted in two shifts each day, from 10: 30 to 11: 50 am and from 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm.
However, a Kannada language test will be held on April 18 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. The KCET 2025 Kannada language test will be conducted at district centres in Bengaluru, Belagavi, Vijayapura, and Mangaluru.
The KCET exam will be conducted in pen-paper based in English and Kannada. A total of 180 questions will be asked in the KCET 2025 is 180. According to the marking scheme, candidates will be allotted one mark for each correct answer and there will be no negative marking in the exam.
KCET 2025 Registration: Application fees
- CAT- 1, SC, ST candidates of Karnataka- Rs 250
- GM, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B candidates of Karnataka- Rs 500
- Foreign Candidates- Rs 5,000
- Candidates studied outside Karnataka- Rs 750
KCET 2025 Registration: Eligibility criteria
- English should be one of the compulsory languages of the candidates.
- Interested candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and Biotechnology.
- The minimum qualifying mark for SC, and ST candidates is 40%.
KCET 2025 Registration: Documents required
The candidate will need documents such as SSLC, Class 10, 12 mark sheet, and 2nd PUC mark sheet, passport size photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, and reservation certificates if any while applying for KCET 2025.
