The counselling authorities revised the schedule after the National Medical Commission (NMC) approved new MBBS seats. According to the revised schedule, the candidates were able to fill choices for round 2 till 16 September 2024. Those who secure a seat in this round will have to report to the allotted institute from 20 and 26 September 2024.
The MCC will also release the NEET UG round 2 seat allotment result PDF containing the details of candidates and the courses and colleges allotted to them. Also, the candidates may note that they will require their login credentials to check the seat allotment result. The committee announced 6,947 virtual vacancies for NEET UG round 2 counselling and the addition of 614 seats in NEET UG round 2 counselling 2024. Â
However, the MCC will conduct a total of four rounds of NEET PG 2024 counselling i.e. round 1, round 2, round 3, and stray vacancy round, general and EWS candidates who have obtained 50th percentile, General-PwBD who have scored 45th percentile, and SC, ST, OBC.Â

- Date of birth certificate (if matric certificate does not bear the same)Â

- Eight passport-size photographs same as that affixed on the application form. Proof of identity (Aadhar/ PAN/ Driving Licence/ Passport)Â
- NRI candidates should bring a passport copy of the sponsorer, embassy certificate, sponsorship affidavit (stating that the sponsorer is ready to bear the expenses for the whole duration of the study), and relationship affidavit (relation of the candidate with the sponsored)
- For OCI/PIO/Foreign national candidates citizenship certificate/card number documents are mandatoryÂ
- SC or ST certificate, if applicableÂ
- OBC-NCL certificate if applicableÂ
- Disability certificate issued from a duly constituted and authorized medical board in an online format by the designated centres, if applicableÂ
- EWS certificate, if applicable
