Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6 Admission 2024-25 Extended

Previously, the application deadline for the same was 16 September 2024. According to the official notice, “There are 661 JNVs sanctioned across the country except the State of Tamil Nadu. No JNV has been sanctioned in 06 districts i.e. Central Delhi, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Mumbai Sub-Urban, which have 100% urban population and are not covered under the JNV Scheme.”
The students who are from the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya has been opened can apply for admission. For admission under the rural quota, a student must have studied and passed Classes 2, 4, 5, and 6 from government, government-aided, or any recognized school spending one full academic session each year.
The JNVST 2024 will be conducted in two phases i.e. on January 18 and April 12, 2025. There will be 80 questions in the test for 100 marks.
JNVST 2024: Documents required
- Photo of the candidate
- Signature of the candidate and his/her parent
- Aadhar details./recidense certificate
- Certificate verified by the headmaster of the current school (the school where the candidate studied till Class 5) mentioning the details of the candidate (in the prescribed format).
JNVST 2024: How to apply?
- Firstly, candidates need to visit the official website.
- Then click on the registration link available on the home page.
- Fill out the form and upload the required documents.
- Review the same and click on submit.
- Save the confirmation page and take a printout for future reference.
