Punjab NEET PG Counselling 2024: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot is going to begin the round 2 Punjab NEET PG counselling 2024 registration for MD, MS, MDS, PG diploma admissions today. The candidates who wish to participate in the same can visit the official website i.e. bfuhs.ac.in.

Along with the Punjab NEET PG counselling registration window, the university will also notify the tentative seat matrix for the second round of counselling. Those who have been allotted seats in the round 1 counselling, will be allowed to surrender their seats before 14 December 2024 using the ‘free exit’ facility. They will have to apply to surrender the seat to the principal of the concerned medical college. 

The candidates who are applying under the Sikh minority, Christian minority quota have been instructed to report to the respective minority institution – SGRD Institute of Medical Sciences, Amritsar and Christian Minority College, Ludhiana, for verification of minority status on 10 December 2024. 

The provisional merit list will be released on 11 December 2024 and the seat allocation results will be declared on 21 December 2024.

Punjab NEET PG Counselling 2024: Eligibility criteria

Category 1 – Registered candidates who did not get any seat allotted in the round 1 counselling. 

Category 2 – Registered candidates whose first allotted seat got cancelled during the document verification. reporting for admission, who have secured under reserved quota, due to change of category from reserved to unreserved or PWD status from yes to no, but are still eligible in the next round of seat allotment, with changed category, subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria. 

Category 3 – Candidates who have reported or joined at the allotted institute during the joining period of round 1 of allotment and submitted willingness to participate in second round up-gradation as yes. 

Category 4 – Candidates who have exited during round 1 by availing ‘free exit’ facility will be able to log in using earlier registered credentials.
