According to the official notice, “ The candidates applying for vacancies should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in the specified opted local language of the Ladakh UT. The list of languages is Urdu, Ladakhi, and Bhoti (Bodhi). The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of the selection process.”
Also, “It will be conducted after qualifying for the online Main examination but before joining the Bank. Candidates who fail to qualify for this test will not be offered an appointment. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language proficiency test.”
The candidates may note that the application window for the same will remain open till 27 December 2024. The exam preliminary examination will be conducted tentatively in the month of January 2025 and the Main Examination will be conducted tentatively in February 2025.
To participate in this recruitment drive must lie between the age group of 20 to 28 years. The candidates must hold a valid graduation degree (UG) in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificates should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.12.2024. Those who are in the final year/ semester of their graduation may also apply for SBI Clerk 2024, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.12.2024.
