UGC NET 2024 Postponed: The National Testing Agency has postponed the UGC NET 2024 exam scheduled to be to be held on January 15, 2025. While the decision has been taken considering the Pongal, Makar Sankranti and other festivals falling on the exam date, the fresh examination date will be communicated later on the official website (ugcnet.nta.ac.in).  However, the examination scheduled on 16th January 2025 will be conducted as per the schedule.

UGC NET 2024 Postponed: Here is what official notification says
”The National Testing Agency has received representation to postpone the UGC – NET December 2024 examination on account of Pongal, Makar Sankranti and other festival on 15th January 2025,” read the offficial notification.

The exam is being conducted on January 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 15 and 16. Admit cards were released in phases. Earlier, the agency released the admit card for exams up to January 10. Also read.

Now, it has released the admit card for the remaining two exam days i.e. 15 and 16 January 2025.

In the case of any difficulty in downloading the admit card or if the details contained in it are incorrect, candidates can contact the agency at 011- 40759000 or by e-mail at ugcnet@nta.ac.in. NTA has asked candidates to ensure that the photo, signature, barcode, and QR code are displayed on the admit card. 

If any of these are missing, they must re-download the hall ticket. Also, the admit card includes an undertaking form. Candidates must bring all pages of the printed admit card (along with the undertaking) to the exam venue. Also read.
