The commission will recruit a total of 604 vacancies for Assistant Engineer posts. Out of these 582 vacancies are for General recruitment and 22 vacancies are there for Special recruitment. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease depending on circumstances/requirements.
In addition to a basic salary, the assistant engineer provided perks and benefits such as dearness allowance, house rent allowance, transport allowance, medical facility, and special allowances.
UPPSC AE Recruitment 2024: Educational qualification
- Those who have obtained a bachelor’s degree in engineering in the relevant stream are eligible for Assistant Engineer posts.
- The candidates who would have served the Territorial Army for 2 years or shall possess an NCC ‘B’ certificate will be given preference.
- Also, the age of the candidate must lie between 21 to 40 years to participate in this recruitment drive.
The candidates need to submit application fees through Credit/Debit Card, NetBanking, UPI, etc. Also, the fees are decided as per the category they belong to i.e.
