According to the official notice,” based on the results of the written examination of the Indian Economic Service / Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2024 held by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION from 21st to 23rd June 2024 followed by interviews for Personality Test in December 2024, the lists, in order of merit, of the candidates who have been recommended for appointment to the posts in Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service are attached as Annexure I & II.”

The IES Personality Test was conducted from 2 to 5 December 2024, whereas the ISS PT was held from 3 to 6 December 2024. The recruitment drive will fill 48 vacancies, of which 18 are for the Indian Economic Service and 33 are for the Indian Statistical Service.

Eight candidates’ results (4 each for IES/ISS) have been kept provisional due to verification. According to the commission, the appointment letter to these candidates will not be issued until the Commission verifies the original documents awaited from such candidates and clarifies their provisional status.
